Corey Engelstad – director of sales
Corey Engelstad was born and raised on a family grain farm in rural east central South Dakota, where his passion for agriculture took root early in life. He pursued his interest in the industry by earning a degree in Ag-Production from Lake Area Technical Institute (LATI) in Watertown, SD, in 2008.
After graduation, Corey returned to the family farm, where he continued to build his experience in agricultural operations. He also launched and operated a successful over-the-road transportation company, hauling commodities across the United States.
In 2011, Corey expanded his expertise by attending Continental Auctioneers School in Mankato, MN. There, he gained valuable knowledge in auction marketing and sales strategies, which he has since applied while assisting numerous auction companies at onsite events over the years.
In December 2024, Corey founded MarketPlace Auction Co., specializing in online auctions for all types of assets. With a strong focus on professionalism and customer service, MarketPlace Auction Co. is dedicated to delivering exceptional results for both buyers and sellers.
